Embarc Lake Tahoe

Description:  The project consisted of a new entry vestibule addition to the existing retail building.  To reduce the impact on the existing structure, the vestibule was required to be free-standing with a separate seismic force-resisting system.  This presented challenges due to the need to fit the required structure into the very small footprint.  The new entry vestibule was constructed of wood framing, chosen for its economy and speed of construction.
